Another Delay..

I can't tolerate another delay.

Big Bro's Wedding Day

My big brother got married on last Sunday, Oct 21. It was in Kagama Hall. The theme color was green with a little touch of gold. It was successfully done, though. Many of my relatives, my parents' friends, neighbors came. Nothing special about the bride's family and relatives. They are nothing. Congratz to my big bro! Live your own independent family life, free from outside's unnecessary interference. Life's too short, why bothers with "those intruders" in the decision making for your brand-new family. Be independent and stand up tall and straight on your feet! Just the two of you will find the way coz no one can let you down!..

California Wildfires

13 wildfires are troubling California. Thousands of San Diego County residents occupy Qualcomm stadium for temporary shelter. So far only two confirmed deaths. Over 1500 homes have been burned. Maria, the first lady of California State, said that this is the biggest crisis that his husband ever faced during his being the governor. Santa Ana winds blew to the Pacific Ocean. It is said to have been influenced by the previous series of tornadoes. Hot weather.

Again. Global warming. Climate change. See more on cnn.com/planet and watch CNN's Special Worldwide Investigation: Planet in Peril. Hosted by Anderson Cooper, Jeff Corwin, and Dr. Sanjay Gupta. Today and tomorrow night.

I'll surely find out what's been going wrong with this planet :(

Thesis - Starter

No turning back. Running out of time. Gotta force myself to start writing the thesis persistently. Have read Albom's The Five People You Meet in Heaven fully for the second time. Have got much enlightenment. Have considered few options for the opening sentences--my most difficulty! Got inspired now. This novel is definitely beautiful in its own way.

One disappointment is that the author of this book hasn't responded yet to my proposal. No matter. Analyzing this novel could be very exciting with or without supervision by the real author. It's full of inspiration on how to live one's best life--just like Oprah ever mentions.

Gotta stay wide awake again tonight. Gotta sleep at 5 am again today. Gotta finish it as soon as I can. Gotta aim to achieve something else. Next year. Would 2008 be another miraculously amazing year for me?

Hands up. Pray to Allah.

Supernatural

I watched two episodes of "Supernatural" on Star World every Tuesday. The first time I did, it was so strange to me. There was a vision of a miserable looking dead nurse. It was like the imagination of 'suster ngesot' type in Indonesia. Just hardly believe if western TV series produce such kind of genre. Gak banget deh.. But, of course, it's different, though. The plot still makes sense. Last Tuesday, it was about the Jin, the illusion possibly created by this creature. I like the idea of their saving the life. I can't talk much now coz I've only seen two episodes of it. All I can say now is, I'll stick to it to finale.

Ooh.. scared.. ~.^

God's Warriors?

I watched CNN's Christianne Amanpour's Report. It was one of the series of her in-depth investigation on God's Warriors. Last night was of God's Jewish warriors. I noticed how Israel since 1948 was endlessly trying to grab the land of Jerusalem and expel the former inhabitants, Palestinians. I noticed how the peace process sponsored by Jimmy Carter back in 1979 had failed followed by the assasination of Egyptian Anwar Sadaat; continued by that sponsored by Bill Clinton back in 1992 through the handshake between Yasser Arafat and Yitzhak Rabin followed by the assasination of Rabin. I noticed how there was civil war among the Israeli following the demolition of 9 houses on the hill of Amena in 2005.
I'd like to quote Rabin's words supporting the peace process back in 1992: "Enough of blood and tears."
I myself am wondering why these people are never tired of living in conflict and hatred and greediness and arrogance. What are they looking for?
The ground zero.
Historical sites: Abraham.
Redemption.
Or merely political?
Indeed, religion is one of sensitive matters leading to conflict and segregation.
No matter how complicated the problem is, there is always a win-win solution. Is it the peace on the land of Jerusalem a signal of the end of the world?
Stop the hatred, it's killing us.

No Name...

"What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet."
(William Shakespeare)

Al Gore Rules!

Al Gore has just received Peace Prize for his work trying to awaken this earth's inhabitants from the increasing threat of global warming. Thanks to his works and congratulation to his achievement. He should run for the president of the U.S. once again to make the world a better place, I guess. But, he's tired of politics, though. Hope that the next chosen president of the U.S. would be the one who's concerned with global environmental issue. Barrack Obama is good, I believe. Let's see.

Eidl Fitr Mubarak!

To all who celebrate, wish you a blessed eidl fitr!..........
